Hello, it’s me:) I hope that this post finds you well and happy and anticipating your wedding date in 2016–or perhaps looking ahead to 2017!  We have been blessed to be very busy and our calendar is rapidly filling up for our 11th season. Our gorgeous expansion has proven to be an amazing back-up plan for our brides in the event of bad weather. We can seat up to 175 in a traditional chapel arrangement without the fear of getting wet or sacrificing your view of the Great Smoky Mountains as a background for… your wedding ceremony. We also do winter weddings and had a full month of weddings in December and with patio heaters in place, the view from the porch was stunning! We still have limited availability in April, July, August and a couple of dates in September–including the 10th (our only Saturday date open in the fall this year. We have had a couple of cancellations–one for May 15 and the other for October 23. Currently, we have a special offer in select months, but we are always delighted to customize a package for your wedding day. if you would like to come and visit with me or one of our amazing wedding coordinators, on our family farm, please email me at sampsonshollow@aol.com or text me at 865.387.1234. Introducing our expansion; The Bonny Red Barn

Introducing our expansion; The Bonny Red Barn

Sampson’s Hollow is an event facility that will provide the storybook location for any special event or gathering.  Recently named as a 2015 Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice winner and The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2015, the naturally landscaped farmland has been in the family since the mid 1800’s.  It was recently recognized by the state of Tennessee as an historic Century-old farm.  Located next to Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee and fifteen minutes from the entrance to the national park, Sampson’s Hollow is easily accessible while still maintaining the privacy and seclusion which most guests desire.  There are many choices of locations for a wedding ceremony at Sampson’s Hollow.  Enjoy the vista and being surrounded by the mountains, in the true hollow of the farm at the white meadow pergola, which sits in the midst of rolling hills bordered in assorted wild flowers, or for a smaller event, perhaps the foot bridge by the creek bed.  A favorite location is within Sarah’s Glen, enclosed by a cathedral of trees, shrubbery, and vibrant flowers and greenery.  This intimate location features three wooden arbors and a stacked rock stairway.  An old gas station and 1951 Dodge Truck add another reflection of days-gone-by to the beauty of the glen.  In the event of bad weather, the porch of our contemporary barn will seat approximately 200 guests on a covered front porch, accented by a lighted chandelier in the center of the elevated roof and a full view of the beauty of the property.  The interior of the barn will seat up to 100 guests, depending on use of space.  Features include air-conditioning, a wood burning fireplace, upstairs loft for changing, three restrooms, a small kitchen and a handicap –accessible entrance. A sweetly adorned cabin provides a dressing suite for the bride and her attendants as well as a romantic beginning for the first night as husband and wife. Please visit our website at www.sampsonshollow.com for more information and click on our links to Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube to see photos and a virtual tour of the...
