April 21, 2019Once you know Sampson’s Hollow, you will know how we love flowers. Our farm is covered with flora and we continue to grow and groom our landscapes and wedding settings. We love flowers. We love wildflowers and we utilize the flowers year round for the beauty of your wedding, renewal or event. They make for awesome photography and personal memories not only visually but from their vibrant scents.
Popular flowers for brides through the seasons would include:
Spring: Consider peonies, iris, or tulips in your bouquets. These flowers speak of spring and bring color and scents that will be etched in the memories of those who attend. Peonies are a trendy choice that has been used in weddings as long as weddings have been conducted. We applaud their popularity! The Iris as the State’s official flower is so regal with it’s deep blues and purples. Try some of the other colors such as yellow! The tulip is sweet and the official sign of spring. The wildflowers at Sampson’s range far beyond these choices and serve as beautiful backdrops for your wedding and photos.
Summer: Bring on the Zinnias. What about Hydrangea, a very popular choice! Bright colors rule in summer which allow the Zinnias to shine. For those who love a vintage look, the Hydrangea does not disappoint. Throughout the summer Sampson’s Hollow sports bright florals and rich greens throughout our full landscape and at our wedding settings. See our Facilities Here!
Autumn: Chrysanthemum is such a beautiful choice for autumn. From their deep rich hues make them excellent fillers for all areas. We also love a Dahlia for fall. The Dahlia can be consider a prime flower in a bouquet or arrangement. As autumn arrives our fall wildflowers bloom bright colors throughout. The trees bring on their color and it is no less than magical at Sampson’s Hollow.
Winter: We love red roses for winter, combines with the evergreens and possibly white gardenia. What romance we see in this combination for your winter wedding. At winter time, Sampson’s Hollow is completely outfit for the season. Christmas is celebrated and winter weddings are held throughout the season
