Each year I forget how God’s handiwork touches the farm, with each season that passes, I forget how beautiful each season can be until it arrives.  The Creator is at work with each day, over a century of time and beyond, weaving His love in to the flowers and the trees, and the couples and their families, and our family who has been so blessed to live here among His handiwork in this place.

What is the first thing you will remember about Sampson’s Hollow?  We hope it is how you feel when you are here.  People often won’t remember what you say but they remember how they feel.  Sampson’s Hollow is a place of deep roots.  Sampson’s Hollow is filled with woodlands and wildflowers.  Bachelor Buttons, Black Eyed Susan, Purple Cornflower call this farm home and have for as many years as we can remember.  The wooded areas of the farm are enchanted and whimsical the meadows and wildflowers no less than dreamy with mountainous horizons.

Oh if this tree could talk. It could give an insight in the lives of generations of our family who have been raised as it grew. No one knows the exact year it was planted by Sampson but this massive red maple has very deep roots.

Much like those who have watched it grow.

Deep roots, family history, gracious love of one another is at the core of what we do.  We feel grateful that we are allowed to share this place with those who choose Sampson’s Hollow as their venue.
