30 Days of Grateful – A Story of Sampson’s Hollow
November 10, 2019January & February Cades Cove Weddings
January 5, 2020Have you heard that the tunnel that leads to Cades Cove will undergo renovations in 2020! This is excellent news for the Smoky Mountains as this is an area that experiences a great deal of traffic and we are blessed the repairs can be done. As written on wbir.com: “The one and only route to drive to Cades Cove, Laurel Creek Road, will be closed from Jan. 3, 2020, through the end of February while crews repair the iconic Bote Mountain tunnel.”
Sampson’s Hollow has been a wonderful Cades Cove elopement or wedding alternative since our inception. There are wonderful places in the Smoky Mountains to be married and in the National Park is a cool idea, but it does require additional licensing and planning. Sampson’s Hollow is located at the foot of the Cades Cove area. We have vast views of the Smoky Mountains and incredible horizons.
